![]() If I can solve the chambering issue, I'll think about changing the valve. I was pretty disappointed with the gun out of the box, but after a trigger job and adding the steel breech and an Aimpoint it's pretty sweet. Sometimes the skirt gets bent trying to (within reason) force the bolt forward.Įventually, with enough manipulation of the bolt, shaking, and cursing the pellet will drop in and allow the bolt to close. The screw, although annoying does not seem to be the culprit in this case-the pellet hangs up further down into the chamber. MichaelI'm sure I seated the barrel fully, and I've tried every position-barrel up, down, sideways you-name-it. This was never a problem with the plastic breech. I don't see any obstruction from the muzzle end. ![]() Installed the Crosman steel breech and got it back together-works great, EXCEPT that pellets are now almost impossible to seat in the chamber.
